April 2nd is our first trivia of a brand new month - you know the drill at this point.

Our next themed trivia IS.... "food and drink".

Every question, as well as the sound round and image round, will at least be loosely related to things we consume. Pretty excited for this one.

3/5 Themed Trivia: "MINNESOTA"

Oh yah, you fuckin' betcha.

On the first Monday of every month in 2012, our plan is to do a "themed" trivia. March is the time for Minnesota to get some recognition. All questions, as well as the image/sound round will be devoted to this state that we currently find ourselves. Could be great? Yeah. Could be great.




IMAGE ROUND - Locate Uptown businesses on the map! We tell you the locations, you mark them on the handy street map we provide. Fun fun fun.

SOUND ROUND - People who represented Minnesota or are from here. Aka Athletes, Politicians, Media people, etc.

DJ Tim will seriously destroy you with awesome music. If you are yet to sample what DJ Tim cooks up for us, then you simply haven't lived.

Joe returns tonight from his one-week "wrasslin'" absence. Presumably he is ready to powerbomb Noah through the stage. Or maybe just cut a wicked promo.

Our Wednesday night trivia at the Sports Page has changed up a bit - for the past few months, Noah has been holding down the fort, while our buddy Mike has been filling in for Joe. Now its official - Wednesday Night Trvia at the Sports Page now belongs to "Nerdy Fellas Trivia" - the new trivia group in the Twin Cities operated by Mike and Noah!

The format of trivia will be the same as it always is. Just doesn't make sense to call it "Joe & Noah's Wed Night Trivia" when Joe no longer hosts there. 10/24 Cause Info (Last Trivia Until Nov 7!)

Noah has vacated the country and taken his beard to Ayngland (that's England in ebonics). However, J&N Trivia soldiers on with our newest Monday Night offering at Cause Spirits and Soundbar.

Michael Manosack (who has been to trivia many times, playing on the 'Apathetic Lethargic' team - he also co-hosts our Wednesday trivia at the Sports Page!) will be filling in for Friar Noah. He is a funny guy, and doesn't take kindly to amateurs. Interpret that how you want.

DJ Knol also in the mix for the evening. I may steal his glasses in an effort to prove that he actually has 20/20 vision. I may also steal his glasses because I hear that he who wears them has the power of 1,000 kings, and the sexual appetite of 1,000 frat boys drinking Keystone Light. Yeah, he's a goofy guy.

Wednesday, October 19th is veteran actor and screen legend John Lithgow's birthday.

Wednesday, October 19th is also our next Wednesday Night Sports Page Trivia.

Wednesday, October 19th is the "John Lithgow Pow Wow".

All of our questions are "inspired" by John Lithgow. Not all questions are ABOUT him... just inspired by him. An example being - since he was in the film "Cliffhanger", we may ask a question about mountains.

We will have cake (for real, yes), we will have balloons (also true), we will have pictures (in frames!) - and most importantly, we will have fun.

THE 90'S ARE BACK.

Due to popular demand, we have brought back our next themed triva at Cause - "Return of the 90's". All questions, as well as the sound and image rounds, are all related to the black hole of a decade we would rather forget, but can't.

DJ Martine has a 90's only playlist, and Noah and Joe have been feverishly watching 90s comedies all week to prepare - "Dumb and Dumber" still holds up surprisingly well. We've also gone back and watched every clip of Pauly Shore from his MTV days. Buuuuudy.
