8/30 - Victory!

Apparently the camera don't work 100% at the moment, but no wonder - "Ernest Likes Ribs" exploded it with their awesome victory at last nights trivia. Unfortunately, no picture this week, but to make up for it, I have posted a picture of Ernest P Worrell himself. And yes, he is dead. Bummer, huh?

Thanks to all who came out! DJ Tim tore the roof off the place, and he's all set to do it again in 3 weeks (Sept 20) at our "90s THEMED TRIVIA NIGHT"!!!

Starting Wed, Sept 1 - JOE & NOAH TRIVIA @ FAMOUS DAVES!!

OK, its official now. We can talk about this.

Starting on Wednesday, September 1st, Joe & Noah Trivia is getting just a little bit bigger. We will be taking the stage and hosting an ADDITIONAL night of questions, images, sounds, and vague attempts at humor.

Yes, this will be EVERY Wednesday, and always starting at 8PM, much like our Cause set up now. Same DJs too - Knol, Tim, and Martine are all expanding with us. Free as always, only difference is FDs will be all ages (I would assume, at least).

The set up of the trivia will be very similar to Cause, but there may be a few tweaks here and there. Its really up to the audience.

I should point out - and I cannot stress this enough - this will NOT INTERFERE WITH OUR MONDAY NIGHT TRIVIA AT CAUSE SOUNDBAR. We love our Cause, and try as they might, they just cannot get rid of us. Mondays are for Trivia at Cause. 8PM Every Monday - lets see you guys and gals keep filling the place up!

So, to review:
MONDAYS - J&N Monday Night Trivia @ Cause Soundbar (Lake & Lyndale). 8pm. FREE! 21+

WEDNESDAYS - J&N Wed Night Trivia @ Famous Daves BBQ & Blues Bar (Lake & Hennepin). 8PM. FREE! All Ages.

We won't be repeating the same questions at both trivias. All original stuff.

8/23 - Dar Vinners (The Winners, I think is the translation)

The "Tricera-Bottoms" topped the competition, and Dino-SOARED (!) their way to the Joe & Noah title. Congratulations!

Joe & Noah Trivia will be undergoing an addition starting September 1. Don't worry, this will not in any way effect (or is it affect?) our Monday night trivia @ Cause. That will stay exactly the same. Same hosts, same night, same locale, same DJs, and especially the same sexual eroticism you've come to expect from us.

But lets just say we're getting a little bit bigger. Yes, I am not being specific. Sorry. When the time is right, you'll know. For now, enjoy some ribs.

8/9 - Yer Winnars

There is nothing left to say. There are no more words. Plain and simple - "Ernest Films a Kitty Porn" have once again proved victorious.

They need the thunder brought to them. And it should be you. Sure, those guys bring the ruckus, and they dress for success - constantly. But they need challengers! Bring it! PEOPLE!!! BRING IT!!!!

(In all honesty, another great night, and a good, hard fought win for our boys in Ernest.)

Special thanks to not only DJ Tim for breaking the world record of boners ever given to Noah in one night (14), but also to local boys Hello Blue for playing one helluva set of songs after our trivia. They're super good, super cute, and you should be listening to them. This is all.

Team "Ernest" - you done earned your win this week. Congrats.

Sauce Spirits and Soundbar, the lovely home for our humble trivia, has officially changed their name to CAUSE. "Same menu, same music, new anagram."

Everything about it is the same, save for the name. It's the same gig, same location - just a new moniker.

"Joe & Noah Monday Night Trivia" remains unchanged, even though Noah has repeatedly lobbied for a name change to "Sweet Nord and the Big-Head Lord: Trivia Night In Yo ass".

(For those not in the know, the "Nord" is my way of saying "Noah's Beard", which if you haven't seen it, deserves its own name. This will catch on, so help me.)

(Sub note - my head isn't THAT big. I don't think.)
